Strategic PR for Businesses
Visibility shouldn’t be a privilege. And credibility shouldn’t be left to chance.
Yet too many brilliant founders struggle to be seen while safe, generic stories dominate the headlines. At Shh! PR, we exist to change that – strategically, sustainably and unapologetically.
Our story
Most PR agencies start with a service list.
Shh! PR started with a frustration.
Too many brilliant founders, particularly women, were doing exceptional work but getting almost no visibility for it.
Meanwhile the headlines were full of safe voices, predictable commentary and the same handful of ‘experts’ repeating themselves.
The problem wasn’t a lack of interesting founders.
The problem was the way PR was being done.
Too slow.
Too cautious.
Too focused on press releases instead of real stories.
So Shh! PR was built differently.
We work closely with founders to uncover the the sharpest, most compelling version of their story and then place it where it actually matters.
Because when the right story meets the right audience, visibility stops becoming a struggle.
It becomes momentum.
Why we do what we do
Visibility isn’t just about publicity.
It’s about power.
When founders are visible in the media and their industries, things change.
They attract better opportunities.
They build stronger reputations.
They shape conversations in their sector.
But too often the people doing the most interesting work aren’t the ones being heard.
That’s particularly true for female founders, who remain significantly under-represented in business media despite building extraordinary companies.
We believe that needs to change.
Not through token coverage or short-term campaigns.
But through smart, strategic storytelling that positions founders as credible voices in their field.
Because great businesses deserve attention.
And the right story, told well, can open doors no marketing campaign ever could.
Why Shh! PR?
Most PR agencies chase headlines.
We build authority.
Most agencies sell activity.
We focus on outcomes.
Most agencies play it safe.
We build stories that people remember.
What makes a story media-ready?
One of the biggest misconceptions about PR is that it’s about sending information to journalists.
It isn’t.
Journalists aren’t looking for annoucements.
They’re looking for stories that make their audience stop scrolling.
That usually means one of three things:
A strong point of view.
Founders who have something interesting to say about their industry.
A clear moment.
A launch, shift, insight or trend that makes the story relevant now.
A bigger conversation.
Stories that tap into issues people are already talking about.
Most founders already have these ingredients. They’re just buried under safe messaging and corporate language.
Our job is to uncover the story that already exists inside the business and shape it into something the media genuinely wants.
Because when the story is right, PR becomes much simpler.
Journalists don’t need convincing.
They want to tell it.

Hannah Worrall
Marketing Specialist
Hannah Worrall is the founder of our partner company, Your Brand Lab, a full-service marketing and content agency built to cut through the fluff and help businesses get seen, get leads, and actually grow. With over 15 years’ experience across sales, brand, content, and events, she knows exactly how to turn marketing from a time-waster into a revenue-driver.
After working across industries from STEM to retail to professional services, delivering real commercial results, not just “awareness”. Hannah spotted a huge gap: too many small businesses were stuck with disconnected, short-term marketing that didn’t reflect their brand or move the needle. Your Brand Lab was launched in 2025 to fix that, making high-quality, strategic marketing accessible to businesses who want more than just social posts; they want actual impact.
Since rebranding and expanding in 2025, Your Brand Lab has grown from a solo consultancy into a full creative agency with a dedicated content studio, an expanding team, and a rock-solid reputation for results. With a high client retention rate and most new business coming from referrals and repeat work, the agency focuses on what works: building brands that people trust and marketing that actually converts.
